Delivery, Returns & Refund
​UK Delivery
We offer Royal Mail 48, Royal Mail 24, and Royal Mail Special Delivery, allowing you to choose your preferred option at checkout. Orders are usually dispatched the next day after being placed, but there may be slight delays depending on order volume.

Budget shrimp: You can choose Royal Mail 24 or Royal Mail Special Delivery (Next Day Before 1 PM).

Expensive shrimp: We only offer Royal Mail Special Delivery to ensure the safest shipping.
If you need your shrimp to arrive on a specific day, please contact us within a few hours after purchase to confirm the delivery date.

Important Notes:

Once an item has been shipped, postage costs are non-refundable for all shrimp and products.

The buyer is responsible for ensuring the correct shipping address is provided at checkout. We will ship to the address confirmed on the invoice under the shipping address. No refunds will be issued for incorrect addresses.​

International Shipping
For international orders, we offer Royal Mail International Tracked Delivery, which typically arrives within 10 working days but may take up to 3 weeks. For shrimp, we offer UPS Express delivery, which takes 3-4 days to arrive.

Import taxes: You may be required to pay import tax upon arrival in your country, depending on local regulations.

DOA Guarantee (Dead on Arrival):

Our DOA guarantee only applies within the UK.

If you are purchasing from outside the UK, it is at your own risk.

For budget shrimp, I may be able to offer compensation for DOA, but please contact me before placing your order to confirm.​

Refund & Returns Policy
Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days from the date of purchase. If more than 30 days have passed, we won’t be able to offer a full refund or exchange.
Eligibility for Returns
To qualify for a return, your item must be unused, in its original condition, and in the original packaging.

Non-returnable items include:

Live products such as shrimp or live foods

Gift cards

Items that are damaged, missing parts, or not in original condition due to customer handling cannot be refunded.

Returns received after 30 days from delivery will not be eligible for a refund.
We reserve the right to cancel and refund orders at our discretion if necessary.

Dead on Arrival (DOA) Policy
For DOA refunds or replacements:

Video evidence of the dead shrimp in their original, unopened bag must be provided within 3 hours of receiving the parcel.

Without proof of DOA, we cannot process your claim.

Once shrimp are introduced to their new tank, we are not responsible for any losses.

Postage is non-refundable, but where possible, we will send replacements free of charge, including free postage.

Refunds Process
Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you about the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within a few days.

If you haven’t received your refund yet, please:

Check your bank account again.

Contact your credit card company, as it may take time for processing.

Reach out to your bank, since some transactions take extra time.

Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need an exchange, email us at shrimpmania39@gmail.com with evidence of the issue.
Returning Items
Before returning any product, please contact us first at shrimpmania39@gmail.com so we can assist you.

You are responsible for return shipping costs, which are non-refundable.

If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Consider using trackable shipping or shipping insurance for valuable items, as we cannot guarantee receipt of returned packages.
